This week marks National Volunteer Week, an annual event that recognizes and celebrates the important contributions that volunteers make each day in Canada and around the globe. Volunteer Canada says volunteer action is like a stone thrown in a lake: its effects have both a direct impact and far-reaching ripples that improve our communities. At the ROM, we are proud to celebrate the incredible volunteers who help the Museum build community, nurture discovery, and create a superb experience for our visitors.
As the ROM embarks on its next 100 years, we are privileged to have so many individuals who are as passionate and dedicated to serving our audience as we are. Together, we are creating the Museum of the future, one that continues to inspire wonder for generations to come.
To our Volunteers – on behalf of the Board and Staff at the ROM, thank you for helping us create a truly unforgettable visitor experience. The ROM has achieved its status as a world class museum with your support and generosity. We look forward to working side by side with you over the next century and beyond!
