Have you discovered ROMBus?
ROMBus is back on the road for another year! Join us for unique, interesting day trips to locations of historical, natural, and cultural interest within Toronto and its surrounding areas.
With convenient departure and return locations, and travel by comfortable motorcoach, ROMBus welcomes day trippers with tours featuring fascinating itineraries with local specialist guides, all hosted by experienced ROM volunteers.

This year, ROMBus offers four diverse, engaging day trips. Choose one or more and enjoy a trip with us.
ROMBus is organized by ROM’s Department of Museum Volunteers (DMV) to provide support for the Museum.
Upcoming Dates
Thursday, September 5, 2024 | 8:30am - 5:00pm
We visit Crawford Lake in Milton with ROM botanist, Deborah Metsger, for an exploration of what the lake is telling us about the earth’s past and the human impact on our planet. Then we’ll learn about the Indigenous communities in the area.
Saturday, October 5, 2024 | 8:30am - 5:30pm
Travel with us to unique agricultural region that is now an important source of Ontario’s fresh produce. We learn about the productive agricultural land now contained in this incredible ecosystem, and the unique farming community that works it.
Tuesday, October 22, 2024 | 9:00am - 5:00pm
We tour three places of worship that each began life serving one religious community and have since been transformed to meet the needs of other, different communities.
Wednesday, December 4, 2024 | 9:00am - 7:00pm
Head into the holiday season with an exploration of Orangeville’s artistic side, including a visit to its creative public art gallery, its excellent community theatre, and its seasonal festive lights displays.
