ROMBus is the Museum’s exclusive day-excursion program, offering curated trips to cultural, historical, and natural sites across Toronto and the GTA—all hosted by expert guides.

Seasonal excursions operate June through September, with daytime departures. A typical ROMBus trip runs 9:00 AM–6:00 PM.

Each ROMBus excursion is guided by a combination of passionate local experts who bring sites to life with scholarly insights and engaging storytelling. Our guides are carefully selected for their specialized knowledge of GTA history, ecology, and culture.
For your comfort and enjoyment, we recommend:
- Sturdy walking shoes (we'll be exploring sites on foot)
- Weather-appropriate layers (our coaches are climate-controlled, but destinations may be breezy/sunny)
- Water bottle (we'll provide opportunities to refill)
- Binoculars (perfect for nature and architecture viewing)
- Camera or smartphone (you'll want to capture the memories!)
ROMBus trips take place rain or shine, so please dress appropriately. In cases of extreme weather, walks may be cancelled. Check our website or social media for updates.
