Gallery Trail: Amazing Adaptations
Welcome to Life in Crisis: Schad Gallery of Biodiversity. Our planet is home to between 2 and 50 million different species of plants, animals, and other living things, and each has amazing adaptations to help it survive.
Work in small groups to explore these adaptations and take action to help protect them back in your classroom.
- Walk. Do not run.
- Use indoor voices.
- Stay with your adult.
- Make way for ROM educators if they need a space for a lesson.
- Don't touch objects. Only touch objects that are clearly marked as safe to touch.
- Don’t rush. Focus your time on the objects that capture your interest and complete what you can within the time you have.
- Ask questions and have fun!
You will find representatives of many groups of living things in these galleries, including animals, plants, fungi, algae, and single-celled organisms.
There are live animal displays in these galleries. Don't tap on the glass or use a camera flash at these displays.
