Let curiosity get the best of you as the ROM celebrates Science Literacy Week with exciting discoveries and hands-on activities.

Activities run from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Free with Museum admission

Dance Dance Evolution: From the waggle dance of the honey bee to the elaborate display of the peacock spider, discover the wildest moves nature has to offer. Join a lesson led by SaMel Tanz, a contemporary dance company that creates vibrant stories through innovative dance. (12 :00 & 2:00 PM)

Pop-Up Planetarium: Come stargazing and explore the constellations with ROM teachers in our new pop-up planetarium. Space is limited – first come, first served. (~20-minute shows starting at 11:30 am, 12:00, 12:30, 1:00, 2:00, 2:30, 3:00, & 3:30 pm)

The End of the Age of Dinosaurs: What's the impact of an asteroid impact? The ROM Palaeo team has been digging into the fossils of the 66 million-year-old Hell Creek Formation to find out. Meet the team, touch real fossils, and hear stories from this summer's fieldwork!

"Out-of-this-World" Organisms: When you magnify some of Earth's lifeforms, they can appear absolutely alien. Get a close-up view of some of the tiny organisms that have inspired science fiction, or are just plain weird. Grab a microscope and start scanning for lifeforms!
