This March break, we’re celebrating the beginning of spring. Highlighting our Art & Culture, and Natural History collections, our family-friendly activations feature many ways that wildlife prepare for changing seasons and showcase cultural springtime celebrations around the world.

  • Hands-on activity tables 
    Select Galleries (Levels 1, 2, 3) 
    From international celebrations to seasonal cycles in nature, explore the various ways that plants, animals, and people experience spring at our hands-on activity tables spread throughout ROM. 
     
  • Spring Trails 
    Currelly Gallery  
    Pick up your Spring Trail Guide at the info booth in Currelly Gallery or download one before you come and journey your way through the Museum to find the six fun-filled activity stations.  
     
  • ROM Curators: Ask me Anything  
    Weekdays only, 2-4pm (March 13-17)

    Looking for more in-depth information about an animal, cultural tradition, or object from our collections? Ask a member from our curatorial staff at various hands-on activity stations.

    Drop-in to the Makerspace to create a chemical reaction.

T. rex: The Ultimate Predator*
Be sure to check out our new exhibition that takes a fresh look at the king of the tyrant lizards. Learn more about tyrannosaurs with full size T. rex casts and models, multisensory activities, and interactives. A guaranteed roaring time for the whole family!

Hike the ROM
Follow a Hike the ROM trail and add to your daily steps without worrying about the weather. Two themed trails offer visitors exercise for both the body and mind. Pick up your free trail guides at either entrance, and head off on a fun-filled step adventure.
