The Royal Ontario Museum and its neighbours all abound with music.  This walk focuses on music and instruments, as well as architecture, in three significant institutions: the Royal Ontario Museum, the Royal Conservatory of Music and the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Music.  It’s a circular route, mostly indoors, like a symphonic suite in three parts, starting and ending in the ROM.

From Saturday, January 12 to Sunday, January 13, 2019, ROM Members are invited to explore the Gardiner Museum’s permanent and special exhibitions free of charge. Visit the special exhibition Obsession: Sir William Van Horne’s Japanese Ceramics featuring more than 350 works of Japanese ceramics, as well as Van Horne’s exacting watercolors, elaborately annotated notebooks, letters, and archival materials.
