Exclusive One Day Workshop

Inspired by the themes set forth in the Genesis  Exhibition which asks the questions how does landscape change a culture and how does culture change a landscape?

Saturday June 1

1: 00 PM - 4:00 PM

This exclusive and intimate workshop includes in depth tours of the First Peoples Gallery and the Schad Gallery of Biodiversity highlighting the various cultures and their strong connection to the land they occupied pre-contact, how they used the resources available to them as well as their natural sustainable practices.
 
Delve into the effects of contact and resulting change in the landscape and ultimate change in the First Peoples cultures.
 
The workshop also includes  a rare hands-on examination of artifacts from various regions and cultures of First Peoples across Canada.
