Lesson Description

a student examines a case and model of ancient sea life

ROM is pleased to invite French-speaking classes in Ontario for a free visit to the Museum.

As part of this special offer, students can travel through time in a curriculum-linked interactive lesson in the Eaton Theatre. Delivered in French by bilingual Museum Educators, this engaging experience delves into the earliest life on Earth, the Age of Dinosaurs, and the Ice Age.

Through fossils and fascinating clues from the past, students will dig into how scientists uncover stories about ancient life and our world today.

Think you’re a fossil expert? Test your knowledge at quiz time! Want to be a paleoartist? In groups, we’ll create our own prehistoric organisms!

Before or after the lesson, classes can continue their adventure with a self-guided gallery visit, where they’ll encounter many of the remarkable specimens featured in the program up close.

Extend the learning with the Dinosaur Discoveries or Learn & Explore Gallery Trails.
