Many of us are familiar with the expression ‘the people make the place’ and nowhere is this truer than at ROM. The Museum would not be a world-class cultural institution without the generous support of so many individuals, families and corporations. 2017 Chairs' Reception

More than 450 members of the ROM family attended our annual Chairs’ Reception on June 14, 2017, celebrating our exceptional donors, patrons, sponsors and volunteers.

This year, the ROM welcomes two new partners to the School Visits Bursary Program: Mandarin Restaurants and Nordstrom. We deeply appreciate the commitment of our education partners.

Together with the ROM, this passionate group of volunteers has established the Bishop White Committee Curator of Japanese Art & Culture—an endowed position that is the first of its kind in Canada.

The Slaight Family Foundation gives a $12-million donation to be shared by the ROM and 14 other not-for-profit organizations committed to improving the well-being of Canada’s Indigenous populations.
