Weekend and groups outside of Ontario and Canada should book through Group Sales.
The following Teacher/Adult Supervisor to Student ratios reflect the number of adults admitted for free and the adult supervision required in the galleries at all times.
Grades K-3: 1 teacher/adult supervisor: 5 students
Grades 4-8: 1 teacher/adult supervisor: 10 students
Grades 9-12, Post-Secondary and Adult ESL: 1 teacher/adult supervisor: 15 students

* Self-guided visits include the ROM Galleries only; they do not include special exhibitions. All Guided Visits and Special Exhibition Programs include self-guided time in the ROM Galleries at no extra charge.
Guided visits must be booked no less than 10 business days prior to visit date.
Self-guided visits must be booked no less than two business days prior to visit date.
Guided Visits booked less than 10 business days before the visit date require a non-refundable deposit no later than 2 business days after booking is made and no less than 2 business days prior to visit date for 15 students per class. If credit card information is not received within 2 business days after the booking is made, your booking will be cancelled.
Self-guided visits booked less than 10 business days before the visit date require a non-refundable deposit of $120 no later than 2 business days after booking is made and no less than 2 business days prior to visit date. If credit card information is not received within 2 business days after the booking is made, your booking will be cancelled.
Full payment for all visits is required on arrival. We accept payment by credit card, debit, cash, or cheque payable to "Royal Ontario Museum". A receipt will be issued upon full payment.
There is a minimum charge for 15 students per group.
A support person accompanying a student with a disability will be admitted free.
All Guided Visits include self-guided time in the ROM Galleries at no extra charge. Does not include special exhibitions.
Cancellations must be e-mailed no later than 10 business days before visit date to firstname.lastname@example.org. Failure to confirm your reservation is not considered a cancellation.
Cancellations received after this period will be charged a cancellation fee equivalent to the 15 student minimum charge per group.
If you are cancelling multiple reservations, please cancel them individually by responding to each reservation e-mail, or send a separate e-mail listing all the reservation numbers.
