Free with general admission, ROM offers daily public tours led by trained Museum Docents and Guides du ROM. Each engaging tour provides insights into the collections, from highlights of the Museum to focused gallery adventures.
No reservations are required—just check the daily schedule when you arrive at the Museum and join the tour of your choice, covering museum highlights or focused gallery adventures. It’s an easy way to discover the stories behind the objects.

- Please be advised that there will be no scheduled English or French Museum tours from December 22, 2025, to January 5, 2026 (inclusive).

Group size is limited to 20 visitors on a first come, first served basis.

For almost 60 years, the dedicated volunteer Museum Docents and Guides Du ROM have brought the collections and exhibitions to life through engaging, expert-led tours. These passionate volunteers offer free tours in both English and French, sharing their deep knowledge of art, culture, and natural history with visitors of all ages. Together, they help make ROM accessible and inspiring for everyone.
