Celebrate Earth Day with the ROM

Seagull with plastic cup lid stuck on its head.

Earth Day is more than a celebration of our planet and its ecosystems – it’s a time to act and make the world a better place. The Royal Ontario Museum is committed to being part of the solution, whether it’s through our timely exhibitions, such as Wildlife Photographer of the Year, Elias Sime: Tightrope, and Great Whales: Up Close and Personal, or the upcoming appointment of our new Allan and Helaine Schiff Curatorship of Climate Change.

This year, on April 22, 2021, we’re giving our time to go into our own neighbourhoods to help clean up our outdoor spaces in a safe and socially distanced way. And we invite all of you to do the same in your own neighbourhood. Grab your mask, gloves, a salad tong, and some garbage bags and help make a difference. After all, we all love dinosaurs but we don’t want to turn into one!
