Have you ever wondered...

  • Who makes clothing?
  • What are our clothes made of?
  • Where are our clothes made?
  • What happens to the clothes we don't buy?
  • Why should we care?

The fashion industry is one of the leading contributors to pollution on the planet. How do we begin to understand sustainable fashion and create sustainable solutions with our fashion choices?

Celebrate Earth Day with us and learn about the importance of the Sustainable Fashion movement through textiles, environmental lifestyle, and cultural understanding.

During this event, students will have the opportunity to interact with Educators and learn from objects, specimens, and belongings from the teaching collections at ROM that highlight fashion, textiles, and sustainability.
