Travel back in time to Manito Ahbee Aki, where the Red River meets the Assiniboine River, as it existed thousands of years ago.
Under the guidance of Indigenous Museum Educators, students will learn from community Knowledge Keepers and build Anishinaabemowin vocabulary as they explore the lands around the petroforms and learn how to be part of the community.
Students will learn through interactions in Minecraft, as well as from Indigenous Artistic and Cultural Belongings that currently reside at ROM.
Can’t attend live? No problem! In this special YouTube Live Format, you’ll be able to pause and play the lesson to go at the pace that’s right for your students. You can even watch the lesson on another day using the link you receive when you book.
