ROMTravel is thrilled to partner with Adventure Canada with an exclusive experience to the Galápagos Islands with all of its endemic species. Starting in Quito with its UNESCO-listed Historic Centre (Centro Histórico), we’ll be immersed in Ecuadorian heritage before transitioning to a nature wonderland unlike any other. Our luxury island voyage launches aboard our small-ship expedition cruise on the stylish “La Pinta”. From there, a wondrous nature adventure awaits. Our days will be filled with charming encounters with Galápagos penguins, giant tortoises, flightless cormorants, and several species of Darwin’s finches, among many other extraordinary creatures. And what better way to appreciate these species than through gentle coastal walks, sandy beach strolls, meditative island hikes, exploratory snorkeling and kayaking?
While in the region, consider an optional extension to Perú to visit the fascinating Incan site of Machu Picchu, the Sacred Valley of the Incas, and the cities of Lima and Cusco.
