Saturday Club
Spring: Against the Odds (Ages 8-10) PM
À propos
Saturdays, April 11 - June 6, 2026 (excludes May 16)
Go with nature’s flow as we encounter evolution’s greatest feats. Why does a camel have humps and what does it have to do with the desert? How do polar bears stay warm in the freezing arctic temperatures? What can we learn from a whale’s thick skin? Investigate the fascinating ways flora and fauna adapt to the most extreme environments. Then, look towards the transformations unfolding before our very eyes and discover how humanity may have caused them. From radiation-eating fungi to tusk-less elephants, we will take a moment and understand the impact humans have on nature. Join us on this exploration of how life always finds its way.
