Feed Your Brain

Ever wondered how to get involved in astronomy, but were unsure how to start? Do you have a desire to find out more about the meteorites displayed at the ROM?  In this course we will survey the frontiers of space and look up close at meteorite specimens. Through gallery exploration, discover some of the surprising astronomical connections that some artifacts have. Finally, we will learn some of the multiple ways you can participate and add to the ever increasing astronomical data through citizen science projects in this 21st century.

Instructor: Mauricio Argote-Cortes is a teacher in the Education Department of the Royal Ontario Museum.
