New Hands:

Hamilton's own New Hands have been hard at work, locked up in Threshold Recording Studio working with producer Michael Keire to put the finishing touches on their debut full length album. The 5-piece have been making a lot of noise this year, especially around the release of their recent single Whichever Way You'll Have It.

New Hands pull from and are influenced mostly by what's going on around them, forming an eclectic and exciting mix of new wave with a combination of both indie and modern rock. They've released three singles so far, all while trying to just play as many shows as possible.

The relatively new, and very fresh sound that New Hands are bringing to the scene is best known in the live show setting. "People are still dancing, we feel like that's a good sign." - New Hands.

Beyond the Mountain:
Melds traditional Southern soul and blues with the experimental sounds of modern rock..

It was a passion for music and a mutual admiration of one another’s talents that sparked in instant friendship between singers Theo Tams and Carly Jean Campbell during a brief meeting in 2008 as semi finalists in the sixth season of Canadian Idol.  Their Idol experiences took each artist on a different journey—with Theo going on to take the coveted title and a record deal from Sony Music Canada. Four years later the two have come together to join forces on an ambitious project that unites their diverse music styles, powerful vocals and Theo’s trademark piano.

Have a drink, sit back, relax and listen to some of the best Toronto vocalists and musicians!
