Meet An Archaeologist: Zoe McQuinn

  • Get up close with rarely seen objects from the Mesopotamian education collection and meet ROM educator and archaeologist Zoe McQuinn.

Make A Mesopotamian Crown

  • Become a member of Mesopotamian royalty and make your own crown!

Gallery Hunts

  • Explore our Middle Eastern gallery like never before on our scavenger hunts! Go on a journey around the gallery and through our special activities!

Write in Cuneiform

  • Write in the world’s earliest writing form, and see if you can guess where and why writing was invented!

Illustrated Stories

  • Taking inspiration from ancient sculptures as well as modern comic books, create an illustrated story about your community.

Mosaics

  • Take inspiration from the Striding Lion and create your own colourful mosiac!

Culture Days

The ROM will be taking part in the Toronto wide Culture Days celelbration! This activity is free and takes place outside on the ROM Plaza, by the Main Entrance.

From 1200PM to 1230PM and 130PM to 2PM, you can meet ROM educator and archaeologist Zoe McQuinn and get up close with rarely seen objects from the Mesopotamian education collection.
