Member Preview: Carbon 14: Climate is Culture

ROM Members are invited to an exclusive preview of Carbon 14: Climate is Culture on Friday, October 18 from 10 am to 6 pm (last entry 5 pm).

This exhibition links art with science on the most important environmental issue of the 21st century: climate change.  ROM Contemporary Culture and the non-profit Cape Farewell Foundation, with support from ROM Biodiversity, are working directly with internationally recognized artists to build an engaging and empowering exhibition that will provoke people to consider how they impact their world, and how they can help sustain life. On display until February 2, 2014.

David Buckland is a designer, artist and film-maker whose lens-based works have been exhibited in numerous galleries in London, Paris and New York and collected by the National Portrait Gallery, London, the Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris, the Metropolitan Museum, New York and the Getty Collection, Los Angeles amongst others.
