Designed for K-12 students and teachers, each episode features Indigenous ROM educators and guest speakers as they highlight distinct ancestral objects, share stories, and offer arts-based activities that celebrate living Indigenous cultures. Program Ontario Fish Identification Workshops These workshops are designed primarily for professionals, technicians, field biologists, and environmental consultants, but other interested individuals - including university and college students - are welcome. Workshops will be offered in April and May 2026, at the University of Guelph Science Complex (unless otherwise noted). REGISTRATION NOW OPEN! A variety of courses are being offered this year: Three-day introductory workshop that will cover the broad array of Ontario fish families and provide an opportunity to develop specialized knowledge of a group of interest Four-day introductory Program Rock, Gem, Mineral, and Fossil Identification Clinic ROM’s popular ID Clinics are a great way to identify your mysterious found treasures, all while engaging with ROM staff and volunteers. Bring your rocks, minerals, gems, and fossils and ROM experts will help identify them for you. Clinics are free with RSVP. All participants are required to register for a ticket (kids included).
