October 31–November 1  |  November 7–8, 2026

Activities include:

C’est l’Halloween — Spooky Animals in French
11 AM–4 PM  |  Earth Rangers Studio, Level 2
Drop-in activities for families with children aged 5–10

Explore the not-so-spooky side of Halloween animals while building your French vocabulary! Join our facilitators to discover animal specimens and models, follow bilingual clues and compare animal sounds across languages.

  • Seek and find: Discover animals in a playful spooky forest.
  • Touch and match: Explore approved specimens or models and match their French and English names.
  • Dress and discover: Try bat, owl and spider costumes and learn about their distinctive features.
  • Share your language: Add words, drawings or animal sounds to a shared multilingual display.

Stay for a few minutes or explore every activity. Different levels of French are welcome, with facilitator support.

Explore with Les Guides du ROM
