Learn how Indigenous communities cultivate, harvest, and protect food systems from generation to generation.
Students will examine how Indigenous communities have and continue to cultivate, harvest, and protect food systems for generations through deep relationships with the land, water, family, and all living beings.
Through storytelling, hands-on activities, and community connections, learners will gain a better understanding of the importance of Indigenous knowledge systems that are rooted in sustainability, reciprocity, and respect for nature.
