About
Bringing together experts in the study of historic Korean traditional dress, this afternoon will take an engaging look at the unique place the collections at ROM play in understanding and adapting these traditional garments for modern wearers. Join Vicki Sung-Yeon Kwon, Associate Curator of Korean Art & Culture, along with scholars and designers, for an afternoon of short talks and conversation as they showcase fashions representing the Korean diaspora, from Joseon dynasty bridal Hwarot to contemporary designs for Hanbok.
A short reception featuring Korean refreshment follows the talk.
