About

The Wonder Is about to get real...

Mark your calendar! This year's Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition arrives Fall 2026.

Each year, the annual competition - organized by the Natural History Museum in London, UK - receives tens of thousands of image submissions from aspiring wildlife photographers of all ages. One hundred selected images from this year's competition - unforgettable photographs of wildlife and the natural world - will travel to ROM right after the winners are announced.

Following the photographer's eye through the camera's lens, we become witnesses to the vivid detail of our fragile world, gaining a better understanding of both the beauty around us and the responsibility we hold towards caring for our shared planet. The perfect pairing of astonishing wildlife with stunning photography makes each year's exhibition of new images unique and inspiring.

Experience the power of photography to reveal, connect, and transform our view of nature.

This year's exhibition opens November 7, 2026.
