About

As part of Doors Open Toronto, we welcome visitors to experience the Hilary and Galen Weston Wing, the Daphne Cockwell Gallery dedicated to First Peoples art and culture. Located on the main floor, the gallery features more than 1,000 cultural belongings that speak to journeys, daily life, family, spirituality, and artistic expression—each carrying stories passed through generations.

The Indigenous Learning Team will be on site to share insights and answer questions.

Please note: Doors Open attendees will only be able to experience the First Peoples Gallery. However, guests are welcome to purchase tickets to visit the rest of the Museum.
