About
Janika Oza’s critically acclaimed book, A History of Burning, explores themes of culture and identity centered around one family across multiple generations. In this book club, we will delve deeper into how these themes are constructed and discuss their current relevance in Canada. Held over two meetings, first meeting, held virtually, will focus on providing participants with the greater historical context pertaining to the book. The second meeting will take place in person at ROM, where participants will have the unique opportunity to meet Janika Oza and pose questions directly to the author.
