Stephen Bowman is a retired tax lawyer and former Vice Chair of Bennett Jones LLP. He served as managing partner of the firm's Toronto office for 13 years.

Stephen is a past Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Royal Ontario Museum. He is also Co-Chair of the International Bar Association's Future of Legal Services Commission and past Chair of the IBA's Law Firm Management Committee and is a course director for the IBA Law Firm Management Committee’s annual Academy for Leaders. He is also Board Chair of Greenwood College School.
