About

ROMTravel has partnered with Worldwide Quest International to offer a cruise to Antarctica.

Travellers often describe their first encounter with the silence, the scale, and wildlife of Antarctica as a moment of awe.

Step aboard the brand-new, custom-built “M/V Magellan Discoverer”, and experience the thrill of an early-season expedition to the Falkland Islands, South Georgia, and the Antarctic Peninsula.

On this all-Canadian adventure, you will be accompanied by a stellar roster of experts whose extensive knowledge and authentic experiences will ensure thoughtful engagement at every stop.

The unique trip itinerary is specially designed to take full advantage of the maneuverability and small size of the ship. Passing through the Strait of Magellan, with its towering glaciers, fjords and wildlife, you’ll visit the rugged Falklands Islands, home to more penguins than people. You’ll enjoy access to remote and hard-to-reach locations like South Georgia, home to the largest King Penguin colony in the world and believed to be the final resting place of Sir Ernest Shackleton, who led three British expeditions to the Antarctic.

With rarely visited destinations, thoughtful insights from experts, and meaningful onshore encounters, the richness woven into each step of the itinerary will truly make this trip an extraordinary experience.
