About
Summer session: Tuesdays, July 8 - August 26, 2025, 9:30 am - 11:30 am (8 weeks)
Inspire your child’s imagination and sense of discovery as you explore ROM’s collection of art, history, and nature through the eyes of a child. Bring your child on a seven-week sensory adventure as you tour galleries with our early learning educators and join them in creative play-based activities and social interaction in a classroom setting. Meet other parents, caregivers, and children and learn how to engage your child in interactive learning for life.
Theme: Art Express
All aboard for a global art-venture! First stop ancient Egypt, where the magic of the Nile will inspire the recreation of a Pharaoh’s pyramid. Tour our special Nature in Brilliant Colour exhibition and try to catch the rainbow. Investigate the patterns and colours of our animal friends and find out how bright fur and striking stripes are more than just pretty traits. Then, take a trip to China and explore the land of Imperial Palaces and celebrated dragons. No corner of the Museum will be missed and no facet of the arts overlooked as you act, draw, paint, and sculpt your way around the world.
For children ages 2 to 4 years, accompanied by an adult.
