About
Be among the first to experience the re-envisioned James and Louise Temerty Galleries of the Age of Dinosaurs and Reed Gallery of the Age of Mammals before they open to the public on December 5, 2025. Connect with ROM experts, enjoy tours and dino-themed activities, and get hands-on with touch tables featuring unique specimens.
Expanded by 3,500 square feet, the gallery features new displays and programming — including the permanent return of Zuul, one of the best-preserved large dinosaurs ever found!
In addition to Zuul, visitors will encounter an incredible life-sized fight scene between Zuul and Gorgosaurus, and new dedicated display areas for Wendiceratops and cretaceous theropods (including tyrannosaurs and “raptors”). The new gallery space will also offer even more space to admire longstanding favourites from the collections, like Tyrannosaurus rex, famous hadrosaurs, and the Jurassic marine fossils.
