In recognition of Treaties Recognition Week, experience powerful performances by contemporary Indigenous artists and take part in hands-on activities that teach the significant meaning of treaties and the relationships they represent.

Social dance with Julianne Blackbird
Julianne Blackbird is Mohawk and Ojibwe from Six Nations of The Grand River Territory who recently taught a Jingle Dress Dancing segment for CBC Kids.

November 9
Puppet show with Rabbit and Bear Paws 
Join Rabbit and Bear Paws for a comical, educational and highly interactive puppet performance. Using traditional Indigenous teachings, the stories are based on The Seven Fires of Prophecies and The Seven Grandfathers.
