ROM is delighted to introduce drop-in French-language workshops this fall.
Casual and activity-driven, we invite visitors to build their French science vocabulary – especially about birds and their anatomy – in a fun and engaging way. Supported by French-speaking gallery facilitators, activities include:
- Examining real bird specimens and identifying different bird features (colour, size, etc.)
- Pin the Word on the Bird – a playful whiteboard game to build identification skills
- Community Colouring Wall – where everyone can learn about the relationship between birds and colour
- And more...
Perfect for French-speaking families and learners ages 5 to 10, the workshop is also a welcoming destination for emerging French speakers keen to practice their language skills.
