ROM is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Hyacinth Gloria Chen. Ms. Chen was a truly incredible woman who leaves behind a tremendous legacy, both as successful businesswoman and a dedicated mother and grandmother who instilled the greatest values and principles in her family.
We were proud to name the Hyacinth Gloria Chen Crystal Court in her honour in 2007, thanks to visionary support from her son and ROM Governor Michael Lee-Chin. This uplifting, inspiring space is a reflection of Ms. Chen’s incredible presence and aptly represents the heart of the Michael Lee-Chin Crystal. Her legacy and spirit live on through the countless visitors who continue to enjoy its soaring beauty today and in the years to come.
