Kids & Family Programs

Understanding Genocide Awareness Month (Grades 7-12)

This program is FREE with registration.

Designed for K-12 students and teachers, Indigenous Voices episodes feature Indigenous ROM educators and guest speakers as they highlight distinct ancestral objects, share stories, and offer arts-based activities that celebrate living Indigenous cultures.

SENSITIVE TOPIC WARNING

Middle and high school students and teachers need to prepare for topics linked to genocide (e.g., the Holocaust and Missing Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls (MMIWG)). Bravely join the ROM and Facing History & Ourselves for a self-care art activation and learn about an innovative arts-based project that tackles these difficult topics.
