Dungeons & Dragons (Ages 11-14) Full Day

Learn about legends, monsters, scrolls, and weapons from the actual cultures and artifacts upon which Dungeons & Dragons-style games are based. Use your imagination to bring it all to life while playing an on-going campaign in the ROM-inspired D&D world. Create characters, strategize, and try to stay on the Dungeon Master’s good side!

Meet the Instructor: Daniel Kwan

Meet the instructor, Daniel Kwan. Image, Justin Charlick. 2011.

Daniel is a multi-media educational professional and anthropologist driven to create meaningful and engaging educational experiences for individuals at all stages of the learning process.

Since 2011, he's been running the Royal Ontario Museum's Dungeons & Dragons program and consulted in the development of a program using the Dungeon World system at the Aga Khan Museum between 2015 and 2016. He is also one of the co-founders of Level Up Gaming, a Toronto-based organization that provides individuals on the autism spectrum and with other disabilities the opportunity to develop and explore their real-world social skills through goal-directed group gaming experiences.

Outside of the classroom, he hosts Curiosity in Focus (, a bi-weekly podcast that explores the nature of curiosity through casual conversations with young professionals and influencers from around the world.
