ROM Trustee a Lead Exhibit Patron

ROM Trustee Mohammad Al Zaibak has been a strong ROM supporter for the past 13 years. A member of the Royal Patrons Circle since 2008, he has given considerable time and financial support to numerous Museum projects.

“This exhibition illustrates the incredible developments of an ancient world, revealing how it is still timely and relevant to our modern-day lives,” says Al Zaibak. “It gives me great pleasure to help share the rich cultural legacy and heritage that began in what is now Iraq, Syria and Turkey.”

The opening of highly anticipated exhibition coincides with the launch of the ROM’s new Centre of Discovery for Ancient Cultures. In this Centre, world-class experts and innovative partnerships will ensure dynamic experiential learning for children and adults alike. “ROM Ancient Cultures will serve as a powerful forum for learning, discussion and understanding,” says Al Zaibak. “Exhibitions like Mesopotamia can help us make sense of past cultures and how they inform our present in a vibrant multicultural society.”
