ROM Election 2019

Trustee Election Results

The ROM membership program is an important aspect of the Royal Ontario Museum’s commitment to public access and accountability. Pursuant to the ROM Act, ROM members elect three of the twenty-one positions on the Board of Trustees. A call for nominations to fill one vacancy for a membership-elected Trustee was made in the ROM Magazine, Winter 2018, and on our Membership webpage. Three candidates were duly nominated, and an election was held from May 2 to May 20, 2019.

Marion Ho was elected by the membership, for a three-year term of office from July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2022. Marion has been an active museum volunteer for 23 years, holding several leadership positions.

The ROM congratulates Marion Ho, and looks forward to working with her on the Board. The ROM also thanks its members for their interest and participation in the Trustee election.
