This position provides day-to-day support to the department utilizing their attention to detail, pattern recognition and Excel skills to ensure the marketing team has the information it needs to implement effective marketing campaigns. Your key focus includes exporting membership data from ticketing software to Excel and from Excel into Raiser's Edge. Ensuring information is accurate and Excel, creating Excel spreadsheets with formulas and pivot tables and importing data sets into email platforms such as Mailchimp and Constant Contact.
Database Coordinator reports to the Manager, Systems and Processing Membership in our Membership Department. This opportunity allows for an individual to shine using your database skills.
Ongoing organization and processing of memberships and donations to the ROM
Run daily Raiser’s Edge “plug in” to bring memberships & donations from BOS (Best Overview System) into Raiser’s Edge.
Processes Department of Museum Volunteer dues
Management of ROM Magazine subscriptions, Gift-in-kind donations and internal membership transfers from ROM Programs.
Ensures data integrity for Raiser’s Edge. (e.g., daily and monthly queries to ensure data entry of membership staff and other ROM staff is correct).
Responsible for generating monthly pledge instalments. Processes any renewals that arrive by mail.
|Salary||$52,792 - $60,333 per annum|
- Completion of three (3) years post-secondary education and a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in database support or a related field, OR an acceptable equivalent in education and experience.
Proficient application database and word processing system end user. Advanced knowledge of Raiser’s Edge 7 and BOS systems, including report generation, data processing and data extraction. Experience with Excel extremely desirable. Knowledge of MailChimp and IATS payment processing desirable. Crystal Report knowledge is an asset.
Proven organizational skills
Ability to prioritize workflow and maintain attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy. Demonstrated initiative and the ability to work with a high degree of autonomy
Liaison with Visitor Experience Team for all customer service inquiries. Handle member inquiries and disputes one-to-one.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Effective training and presentation skills.
French language skills would be considered an asset.
Basic understanding of Fundraising principles would be an asset.
