Are you passionate about providing exceptional customer service to staff and visitors to find books, digital references, and archival resources? Are you a library or archive technician with experience or education in the library or archival systems?
Supporting the Museum Archivist in inventorying archival holdings and updating finding aids
Collection development, purchasing, and report-generating modules in the library management system ALMA
Circulation and orientation duties; reference services; stack retrievals and shelving.
Support Library Technician with some aspects of the Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery program, both lending and borrowing
Support the Acting Head, Library & Archives, in maintaining Library accounts and liaising with the Finance Department.

Community college Library Technician or Archive Technician diploma (2-year program), OR an equivalent in education.
Knowledge of Library of Congress classification, Library of Congress Subject Headings and filing rules.
Knowledge of Interlibrary Loan policies and procedures at national and international levels.
Knowledge of basic Archival practices and principles such as The Rules for Archival Description

STARTING DATE: ASAP

SALARY: $27.91-$31.90* Provisional range
WORK SCHEDULE: Up to 24 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (No Weekends)
PROBATIONARY PERIOD: 6 Months or 420 hours, whichever comes first (performance based only)
