"All Aboard" and take a trip to the past in beautiful Dufferin County.

After a scenic fall drive to the hills of the headwaters we will board a historic Steam train.  While we ride along our guide will fill us in with stories and historical notes of the area.

We then travel to the hamlet of Violet Hill where we will have lunch at Mrs. Mitchell's, a converted school house.  After lunch browse in the quaint gift shop of "Granny Taught us How".    In the afternoon we will visit the Dufferin County Museum where we will dig into more history of this rural area.

A great way to kick off your Thanksgiving weekend by reflecting on a simpler time.

Note: Wear comfortable walking shoes. There will be an uneven road to walk on from the parking lot to the train.
