Let the ROM's new exhibit, Cairo Under Wraps, inspire you as you learn about daily life in Mediaeval Cairo. From clever architecture, to delicate fabrics, and elegant calligraphy, see how people of the past can inspire you as you create your own masterpiece.

Cairo Under Wraps displays many examples of the textiles produced in Mediaeval Egypt centuries ago. Learn about and use these traditional techniques of weaving to make your own decorative piece of art for use at home.
