During regular hours of operation Dead Sea Scrolls opens at 11 am Monday to Friday and 10 am on weekends. Learn more about special exhibition hours.

General admission to the Museum is free every Wednesday from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm. This offer excludes admission specially ticketed exhibitions. Half Price admission remains on Fridays from 4:30 pm to 9:30 pm; for general admission only.
A separate admission fee applies to see Dead Sea Scrolls: Words that Changed the World. Arrive early, as longer than average wait times may apply.
Groups of ten or more paid guests receive discounted rates and can customize their visit with special add-ons. Learn more!
The Royal Ontario Museum’s Community Access Network (ROM CAN) provides free tickets to communities and individuals who may not otherwise visit the Museum.
Avoid the lineups and purchase your tickets online! Our secure online ticket program allows you to print your tickets at home and gain access to the Museum without the waiting at the Admission Desk. A small service charge of $2 will be added to each print at home ticket.

- Timed tickets may be in effect during special exhibitions.
- ROM Friday Nights admission includes all permanent galleries and special exhibitions. Some restrictions may apply.

Royal Ontario Museum’s Community Access Network (ROM CAN)
The Royal Ontario Museum’s Community Access Network (ROM CAN) provides free tickets to communities and individuals who may not otherwise visit the Museum. The United Way Toronto distributes tickets through its network of health and social service agencies. The Institute for Canadian Citizenship distributes Museum family passes to new Canadians during citizenship ceremonies each month, as part of its Cultural Access Pass Program.
Free Tuesdays for Post-Secondary Students
ROM CAN also provides all full-time students attending a post-secondary institution in Canada free admission to the Museum on Tuesdays. Admission to special exhibitions are subject to a surcharge. Please bring your current student card and picture ID. Only one ticket per student. Full-time students only.
