There has never been a better time to support the Royal Ontario Museum. Following the transformational Renaissance ROM Campaign, the ROM and the ROM Governors have embarked on a new strategic planning process and are looking ahead to centenary celebrations in 2014.
As we prepare to celebrate 100 years of pioneering philanthropy at the Museum, the ROM Governors is looking to the future and the long-term sustainability of the ROM. Generous support from individuals, corporations and various levels of government will continue to play a major role in ensuring the Museum's ongoing success and significance.
This year's $16 million fundraising goal is focused on several priority areas. We plan to improve digital accessibility through a re-imagined website and the addition of Wi-Fi hotspots throughout the Museum's exhibition spaces; we are working to build the innovative Peter F. Bronfman Gallery of Early Life; and we are planning to enhance collections and programming in the areas of Biodiversity and Earth Sciences.
The ROM Governors works to create meaningful philanthropic opportunities that further the ROM's mission while meeting the personal interests of donors or business objectives of sponsors.
