Signature Events
The ROM Governors office hosts four signature fundraising events to support and create awareness of the Museum's highest priorities. Your participation in our exciting, memorable events helps support crucial ROM programs, projects and initiatives.

PROM
Spring
Now in its seventh year, PROM is the annual Young Patrons' Circle (YPC) fundraising event for the ROM—and one of Toronto's most anticipated and buzzed about parties of the season. Hundreds of YPC members and guests enjoy PROM at the ROM with dancing, live entertainment, cocktails and gourmet bites. Proceeds support ROM priorities, including cutting-edge curatorial research through the YPC Research Fund.

Fact? or Fiction? is the ROM's longest-running fundraising event and a major source of funding for critical curatorial research and fieldwork in Canada and around the world. Guests join ROM curators for a fun-filled night of deception and discovery at the Museum. Score card in hand, they match wits with devious ROM curators in a hilarious guessing game to determine the authenticity of mysterious objects from the Museum's vaults.

Culture Shock – Spring or Fall, Annual

Culture Shock is an annual fundraising event in support of the programs and exhibitions of the Institute for Contemporary Culture (ICC) at the ROM. Guests enjoy a gourmet dinner in c5 Restaurant Lounge, a private viewing of a major ICC exhibition, and an intimate, exclusive experience with an artist or curator.
