Charitable Gift Annuity
Through a charitable gift annuity, you can make an up-front contribution to the ROM but retain the right to receive income payments for life. In a contract between you and the Museum, the ROM guarantees a pre-determined payout for life or, in certain cases, a number of years. The ROM will use a portion of your gift to purchase an annuity for you from a commercial insurance company. All or most of your annuity payments can be tax-free, and you may also receive a small donation receipt for a portion of your contribution.
