Typical Day
Please arrive 15 minutes before your program is scheduled to begin for a smooth start to your exciting day at the Royal Ontario Museum!
Check in with our School Visits reception team at the museum’s south entrance for speedy payment processing, locker assignment and a friendly and informative orientation.
Once our reception team connects your group with an expert ROM teacher you will embark upon an unforgettable educational ROM adventure!
If your scheduled visit takes place in the morning, your group is welcome to stay for lunch and explore the Museum in the afternoon. School groups may enjoy their brown bag lunches brought from home in the ROMkids Lunchroom. Vending machines with snack and drink options are available.
School groups wishing to pre-order student and teacher/chaperone lunches, please contact the ROM Hospitality Department 416.586.5554 for menu selections and ordering information.
If your scheduled visit takes place in the afternoon consider taking a self-guided tour before or after your lesson. Your group is welcome to stay between 10:00 am and 5:30 pm.
