Self-Guided Visits
Shape your school visit to the Royal Ontario Museum to your class’s requirements. The ROM’s self-guided programs allow students of all ages to learn and grow in a rich and inspiring environment. Our current exhibitions, World Culture Galleries, Natural History Galleries and Hands-On Galleries offer learning experiences for all grade levels.
Explore the Bat Cave, James and Louise Temerty Galleries of the Age of Dinosaurs or Galleries of Africa: Egypt. Take your class on an active learning adventure in our CIBC Discovery Gallery and dig for dinosaurs, dress up in costumes, interact with our collection in the digital gallery or explore the vast diversity of life on earth.
The ROM's special Monday Morning Program is aimed at showing the highlights of the Museum to our youngest visitors. From 10:00 am to 11:30 am, students can interact with resource staff – the OWLS –stationed throughout the museum with exciting artifacts and specimens.
