It's like getting your own ROM expert in a suitcase! Relax in the comfort of your own classroom, and let us bring the Museum to you. Our Edu Kits Porgram is guaranteed to liven up your classroom learning environment.
What is this Program?
Edu Kits Program are hands-on, object-oriented educational kits. And most importantly, they're fun! They come in a variety of topics based on the common core curriculum, and of course, on the expertise and collections of the Royal Ontario Museum.
ROM Kits Come in Two Sizes
School Cases are larger, and contain teacher's notes, student activity cards, resource material, objects/artifacts, and reference material. They provide lesson plans and student activities suitable for full-class (25-30 people) participation.
The smaller Resource Boxes are ideal for small group or independent student inquiry. Or they can be used to highlight specific points of a topic in a full class (25-30 people) setting. They contain teacher's notes, student activity cards, objects/artifacts and resource material.
How to Order
If you wish to receive Edu Kits, complete the online form. Or you can e-mail your request to schoolc@rom.on.ca.
Reservations are made on a first-come, first-served basis, but we will make every effort to provide you with your chosen selections. Booking periods are two weeks, four weeks or twelve weeks.

Please Note: Schools include home, public, private, and separate schools. Other organisations includes daycares, nurseries, museums, galleries, libraries, historical societies, heritage organisations and youth organisations.
All prices include shipping but are subject to GST.
Loan Contract period for a School Year is from October 1st to June 1st. A loan contract will be sent upon booking an Edu Kit. Please return the signed contract to ensure shipment.
