Explore the Ancient Worlds of China, Egypt, Greece and Rome. Discover similarities and differences in the way each culture addressed the basic issues of civilization: government, food supply, social organization, family structures, beliefs and art. Hear stories that illuminate 2,500 years of human nature and innovation.  Does not include the Medieval World.

Curriculum links:

  • identify and compare how early civilizations met physical and social needs
  • use original artifacts to investigate characteristics of early civilizations, including their technological advances
  • show how innovations by early civilizations influence the modern world
