Explore societies that existed between 3000 BCE and 1500 CE including Mesopotamia, Egypt, Greece, Rome, China and Medieval Europe.  Discover similarities and differences in the way each culture addressed the basic issues of civilization: government, food supply, social organization, family structures, beliefs and art. Hear stories that illuminate 3,500 years of human nature and innovation.
